Happy Easter!!!

Hey all...hope everyone is well. Here's a little something to hold everyone over for the next week or so...hope you like it...

The National's upcoming album leaked this past week and I am in serious lust with it. Albeit a little more sedated than their previous efforts, Boxer is rich in lyrical imagery and lush atmospherics. You'll hear something new with every listen...the subtle melodies this band manages to weave into each track are shiver-inducing...this band deserves to be more well-known, although I admit that this album will not be the one to do it...feast your eardrums on these marvellous pieces of music and be sure to pick up the album when it is released on May 22 (and attend the concert June 5 at the Opera House...i'll see you there)

The National - Slow Show

The National - Ada

The National - Mistaken for Strangers

Here are some great goals from the last two weeks:

And for all you sports fans, check out this crazy comeback in the NCAA Division II Championship basketball game.

Since I'm on a sports bent, here's Peyton Manning as you've never seen him...man, those kids gotta shape up...

Here's some more tracks that have been kicking my ass recently...

Kings of Leon - My Third House - a b-side to the first single off their new album (On Call)

Kings of Leon - Head to Toe - a ripping B-side from their last album, it is often played at live shows...can't wait to see these boys in June
