A massive music post today...some brand new stuff from artists you may already know, in addition to some tracks from artists you've likely never heard of...enjoy...there is some great music below...happy listening

Feist - My Man My Moon - Here's a new studio track that will appear on her next album...if the whole album is like this, I except it to be huge among indie circles...

The new Modest Mouse Album, We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank, leaked this past week...here are two choice cuts from the new disc (Johnny Marr's presence is particularly evident on the first track)...

Modest Mouse - Invisible

Modest Mouse - March Into The Sea

These next tracks are from two bands who are getting a lot of blog love right now...I like to think of them as Stars-clones, although they both rock out a little more...

Harlem Shakes - Carpetbaggers

WinterKids - Tape It

Okkervil River is a band that knocked me on my ass in 2006, although they have been around for much longer...a blend of folk, rock and country, these guys are definitely worth your time (if you like The Cure, skip to the third track...you'll find that the guitar, synth and rhythm sections will be to your liking...)

Okkervil River - The President's Dead

Okekervil River - For Real

Okkervil River - Black

I've been on a remix/mashup kick of late and Girl Talk is the epitome of the genre...he takes well known hip hop, rap and rock tracks and fuses them together to create some pretty awesome results...check it out...

Girl Talk - Hold Up

Girl Talk - Give and Go

Girl Talk - Smash Your Head

The Kooks - Naive - these guys are just plain fun...in my opinion, this is their best track...try not to tap along to this one...

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Weapon of Choice - I've been waiting for these guys to return to rock and roll for awhile, and this cut from their new album marks a return to form...rock on...

This is funny...the Raptors should get this guy for the playoffs...

And for those of you who have a certain affinity for felines, here's the cat version of Liberace...she plays about as well as i do...although i think my 'Three Note Song' is superior in the minimalist genre (not too many have been privy to the excellence that is my piano-playing ability)
